During the challenging 2020 year, I heard from many community groups and local community members about how difficult it has been to both advertise local groups and for potential participants to find groups and clubs to join. To help re-connect community members with people with shared interests in the area, my office is currently compiling a local community guide for our electorate.

We are looking for groups that allow people to connect through a shared passion or interest and that are looking for new members or participants to join. Groups should be inclusive and community focussed; some examples include parent support groups, chess clubs or a music ensemble.

We plan to provide a hard copy of this guide to everyone in the electorate and may, in the future, create an online version.

We need your help to compile this information – If your organisation and/or you know of other organisation that would like to partake, please fill out this form.

Expressions of interest should be submitted by Monday April 19th at 5pm.

If you know any other groups who’d like to get involved, please help us ensure as many groups as possible are represented by sharing this link with them. If you have any questions, please contact my office on (03) 9326 1300.
