The Parliamentary Joint Committee on the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is holding public hearings on Independent Assessments in the coming weeks.
The Committee wants to hear from individuals with lived experience of disability, including those who have been through recent independent assessment pilots, their family members and their support networks.
Media will likely follow the hearings and will be interested in covering the human impact of the proposed reforms.
If you want to send a message to the Government and the rest of Australia about Independent Assessments, this is your chance.
Upcoming public hearings:
- Friday 23 April (Melbourne)
- Tuesday 27April (Perth)
- Friday 30 April (Hobart)
- Tuesday 4 May (Geelong)
- Further hearing dates and locations to be confirmed
