Last night Tony Abbott announced that he would cut the retirement incomes of all hard working Australians.
Tony Abbott has always believed that superannuation is a ‘con job’ and has never voted for an increase to the Super Guarantee.

The Liberals cannot be trusted on super. This is not a delay; it’s a full blown halt to Labor’s increase to the compulsory superannuation contribution.
Make no mistake - the Super Guarantee will never reach 12 per cent under a Liberal government and an average 30 year old will be $127,000 worse off in their retirement.
The Liberal Party opposed the creation of Australia’s world class superannuation system and has never voted to increase the Super Guarantee.
The Liberal Party has repeatedly promised not to scrap the increase in the Super Guarantee:
“The Coalition remains committed to not rescinding the increase in compulsory superannuation from 9 to 12 per cent.”
